Attractive rooms with bathroom, all furnished with care, look onto a vast, open panorama, a balcony onto the hillsides of the Chianti. The restaurant combines the flavours of Tuscan cuisine with the authenticity and the warmth of the family management. The result is excellent dishes to be enjoyed, inside dining room, or on the panoramic terrace, whilst drinking in the tones of light created by the last rays of the setting sun which tinge the surrounding olive trees and vines.
Indeed, at the Antico Desco, you will literally be surrounded by vineyards which grow right up to beneath the windows of the B&B.
As well as the Antico Desco, the Troiani family owns a well established farming enterprise, the Fontaleoni. 40 hectares of land cultivated with vines and olive trees which yield an excellent oil and four true pearls of the wine industry: the Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the Vernaccia selezione, the Colli Senesi Chianti and the San Gimignano Rosso. Quality wines which may be sampled at the restaurant, maybe after visiting the enterprise's ultra-modern winery.
